Well written and an easy read. This book is laid out beautifully and is really well written. Covers a lot of ground and gives you so many options that you’re bound to find a fasting schedule that will work for you. She holds your hand through the entire process. Intermittent fasting is a great and healthy way to lose weight. As the author says it’s a lifestyle, not a diet. I agree with the author that intermittent fasting is easier than you may think. It’s much easier to institute than dieting, and you can do it for the rest of your life. As the author points out, you won’t have to worry about losing weight and then gaining it all back when the diet is “over.”
The first thing that comes to mind when I hear anything about fasting is, 'a spiritual exercise.' This book has made it clear that fasting is a healthy exercise if done the right way. I was thrilled to find out that the last meal before fasting is most important (Make your Last Meal your Best) and that gobbling down food might actually lead to overeating- eating slowly is key. Following the guide in this book will definitely lead to a healthy lifestyle.
